Although technically triangular in shape, the green we refer to as “The Square” is at the heart of Castlepollard town. The Square is overlooked by several Georgian-style buildings, and a sculpture depicting the Children of Lir is located here. The Square is home to the annual North Westmeath St Patricks Parade as well as smaller events and markets throughout the year.
